Accordion Music
________________________________________________________________

Not just an accordion instructor, Salane C. Schultz can be hired to sing and play accordion for private parties, summer camps, street and county fairs, farmers markets, Oktoberfest, weddings, and or any other event in which you may need some live accordion background music as well as a strolling musician, and or stage performer.

Salane specializes in children's educational and entertaining fun music. Her goal is to educate children by encouraging her audience to dance as well as sing along while learning at the same time.

She also plays adult music which includes tangos, rhumbas, polkas, & ethnic pieces such as German, Spanish, French, and Italian, as well as cover songs including Tom Waits, Pete Seeger, & the Carpenters, as well as traditional holiday music, ect... the list just keeps on growing.

Her stage presence is captivating, charming, rhythmic, warm, and soulful.

She has played at Jack London Square, the Alameda County Fair, Temescal Street Faire, Bottom of the Hill, Starry Plough, Speisekammer Restaurant, the Ivy Room, 21 Grand, the Stork Club, Ashkenaz, Piedmont Day Camp, KALW radio in San Francisco and KALX radio in Berkeley, as well as the many recitals at various local Accordion Club meetings from Petaluma to San Jose as she is a member of the San Francisco Accordion Club, and proud student of Lou Jacklich. Salane occasionally works at Smythe's Accordion Center in Oakland, (see links page), as she has helped Mr. Kimric Smythe run booth at numerous Cotati Accordion Festivals where she attends regularly

Otherwise known as miss February 2010, she and many other local female accordionists helped put together a local Accordion Babes 2009/ 2010 pin- up calendar with compilation CD. (sold out, thanks.)... but don't worry, we are busy working on another one. Please put your orders in before these all sell out too. The calendars will be available in December 2009 for viewing.
