Every artist on the album rewrote their own interpretation of Shakespeare's words ranging from electronic keyboards to a duet on saw and guitar, to rock --n- roll, to hip hop. Salane has an original deep vocal quality where her made up lyrics tend to ponder life while exploring every emotion that we as humans all share on this planet. She likes to explore this existence thru music and art. Her vocals are occasionally run thru effects peddles, backed by two charming keyboards, shakers, bells, percussion, tin whistles, accordion, and other various noise makers, as well as home made props and masks. She changes her look for every show, for each performance, and line up of music is different each time.

She has played at many venues around the Bay Area and beyond including the Odeon Bar, the Starry Plough Pub, the Edinburg Castle, the Stork Club, 21 Grand, the Fishtank, Mama Buzz, 12 Galaxies, Ashkenaz, City Art Gallery, Post, the Rite Spot, Nomad Cafe, KALX radio, and KALW radio stations, and many others.

Salane and Friends is a strong supporter of other local Bay Area local bands and musicians. Salane was one of 3 featured artists who promoted the showing on KALW radio playing live on the air.
