Did I say food and booze? (feel free to bring some food or drink to contribute only if you can. No worries if you cannot bring something, it is OK, you are still invited for sure.) Yes. Good times await your arrival so please make sure to save the date. Don't miss the chance to catch great live music by the artist myself, (that's me), as well as other fun surprise musical talents, fun art, great conversation, fun snacks, and cheap wine, and perhaps an open musical jam.) Sun. June 6 2010 12 noon till 6PM Temescal Street Fair You can come by between noon and six PM tomorrow and catch lots of good times!!! Fun things to see and buy. Food. Beer. Live music with one main stage plus a kids stage... plus me somewhere on Telegraph AVE. between 51st (aka Pleasant Valley Road) and 45th streets playing accordion music all day long. (that's what I say now. Six hours is a really long time to play an accordion. If you wanna bring me beverages and snacks I will play any song you want me to. But I might not play it very well, especially if I don't know or cannot remember it.) I will have sidewalk chalk for yer kittens too. I like kettle corn. See you all tomorrow with bells on!!! |

but often misunderstood squeezebox: it's history and variety as
well as it's effect on popular culture. Contains insightful interviews
with accordion legends such as Anthony Gall-Rini, Guy Klucevsek,
and Dick Contino among many others. See the original drawings for
the accordion's patent of 1829 as well as the first design of the
concertina. Visit an accordion museum and a factory where the instrument's
many parts are created. Venture through several types of concertinas,
button boxes as well as a presentation of MIDI accordions. See
historic clips of Guido Diero, Art Van Damme, Lawrence Welk and
Frankie Yankovic. Discover why "Lady of Spain" is associated
with the accordion. See the first attempt to make a rock-n-roll
accordion. And listen to where the accordion might be headed in
